I want to write this down before I forget it... Megan is my 11 year old pre-teen daughter who is so precise, logical and pefectionistic... she's not really me at all! Definitely more like her dad (except her love for music... that's me....) It's been a long time since she's said something really silly and funny - until today:
Anyway, we were on the way to her Activity Day leader's house. I handed her a check for her to give to her AD leader...
Megan: what's this for?
Me: I bought a candle from her a LONG time ago and never picked it up. (Gold Canyon Pomegranate... heaven on earth)
Megan: I wonder what they make candles out of....
Me: They melt wax down to do it.
Megan: I hope they don't use ear wax!
Me: (silently giggling....) no, they don't...
Megan: (dead serious) Cuz' ear wax wouldn't make a very nice smelling candle, would it????
Me:......... (speechless)
