Ok so the clip wasn't working but then I found it anyway, and I LOVE it! So true!! He gets it, that's for sure. Seriously though, I think it was great for him to talk about this stuff because there are a lot of young spoiled brats who watch Conan, and even for us older people, we all need to be reminded, it's like in the scriptures where it talks about being provoked or being made to be humble, instead of just being humble in the first place so we don't have to go through depression and recession and stuff, we're just like those people though, we don't learn. When things are going great, we forget how blessed we are and take it all for granted, when things suck, we beg for help. That's how it's always been.
Wow--that really does make you think, huh? It really is amazing how quickly we get used to new technology. I truly can't imagine living without the internet now. How the heck did we live? I scrapbook on the internet. I keep in touch with family & friends on the internet. I get my news via the internet. I shop (and will do so even more when we are in Fiji) on the internet. I remember when it first came about and was super slow. Now, I get all frustrated if it takes more than a couple seconds. I need to chill.

By the way, I love the title of the clip, everything is amazing, but we're not happy, or something like that...
He is right. We are a bunch of whiners. I particularly relate to the comments about flying.
