So, we decided to regroup and get in line immediately. A couple gals in our party had already had dinner, so they headed for the end of the line and the rest of us quickly grabbed some food in the mall's food court and carried it back to our spot in the line. I had a delicious stuffed baked potato and a huge diet coke while sitting on the sidewalk with some of my best friends!
Here's a photo of the line in front of us....
and this is the line behind us....
...turns out our theater sold enough tickets to fill 8 auditoriums!!!! Crazy, huh??? Lucky for us, we were able to get into an auditorium and wait in comfy seats for the last 2 hours before the movie, which was nice to have unlimited access to the restrooms while I waited for above mentioned diet coke to filter through the bladder!
I've promised not to say a word about the movie itself for a few more days... I'll try to be good and keep that promise! But, if you want to see it, do it soon so we can all talk about it together!

We are going tonight. I guess we'll have to leave earlier than I thought!
We went in Vallejo (California) at Noon on Friday. The theater was half full. Surprising how men were there. No lines until we came out at 2:30 and there were some young women lined up for the 3:00 showing. Nothing like what you experienced. I haven't talked to the ladies who went at midnight last night. They only ran two theaters last night. I guess there isn't a huge interest in the City of Vallejo for this type of movie. The Pleasant Hill theater sold enough tickets to fill 4 theaters.
Glad you had fun!!!
My sister, Voices Carrie, and I are going in a couple of hours. I have friends who waited in line all day. They invited me along and I am usually up for the party, but I thought I would leave the lawn chair line upto the super fans.
I'll report back later.
Thanks for the linkie! Smooch!
We didn't go to the theater until 9:30 and we were on the sixth row. However, it was also showing in 18 of the 24 theater's there. It's a new huge theater in Orem it was crazy.
